The mint mark on a 1921 silver dollar can be found on the reverse side of the coin, below the tail feathers of the eagle. If the coin was minted in Philadelphia, it will not have a mint mark. Coins minted in Denver will have a "D" and those from San Francisco will have an "S" mint mark.
