The rarest Seated Liberty quarter is generally considered to be the 1873-CC "No Arrows" quarter. Only five specimens are known to exist, making it an extremely rare and highly sought-after coin among collectors. Its rarity is due to a limited mintage and the fact that most were likely melted down after the Mint changed the design to include arrows at the date later that year.
